Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered to people who cannot attend classes for various reasons. Such reasons may be as follows:

1. The owner has other commitments during class times

2. The dog or owner requires more individual attention

3. The dog has social problems and cannot be in a class with other dogs

4. The dog cannot cope with the training environment (too many distractions)

5. The dog has had no prior training and is over the age limit for puppy class ( a minimum of one private lesson  is required before such a dog may join the intermediate class)

Private lessons are usually 45 - 60 minutes long and may be conducted in your own home or at another suitable venue.

Private lessons differ to consultations in that they are not intended to focus on specific behavioural problems, but to teach basic obedience and handling techniques.

Fees for private lessons:

Noordhoek - Scarborough: R150 per lesson.

Tokai to Constantia: R200 per lesson.
